Since its inception, Xavier High School has, over a span of 57 years, graduated many students from the Pacific islands who have contributed significantly to the development and progress of the region. Most graduates of Xavier High School have gone on to serve the island nations and have been influential in the course and direction of the islands.“The list of Xavier graduates may not be as extensive as older schools,” a former student commented. “However, the extent of contribution that the graduates have given to the Pacific islands is immense.”Among the graduates who have played noticeable roles in Palau are: Dr. Victor Yano, Victor Ucherbelau, Attorney Moses Uludong, late President Lazarus Salii, late Dr. Anthony Polloi, Bonifacio Basilius, former Senator Seit Andres, and others who are now holding significant posts – public and private – that serve the interest of the people of Palau.According to Kohama, the concert aims to provide support to Palauan students enrolled in Xavier.“We hope to perpetuate the success and service that Xavier had taught us,” she said. “We want to ensure that opportunities and options are accorded to Palauan students such that they will someday give back.”Kohama said that the cost to enjoy the concert is $3.
