Letter to the Editor: Zero tolerance against corruption in the NMI

Our suffering community echoed that seven years is too lenient. But we must also remember that although the sentence is short and most of you felt unfairness, the REPUTATION and DISTRUST of one of the most powerful political families will be a sentence of a lifetime. Let it be known by all men that we the suffering people of the commonwealth will no longer TOLERATE  white collar crimes and public corruption and it’s TIME for change. It’s time that we step up to plate and ensure Transparency, Integrity, Honor and Respect in our government by enforcing and appropriating full and proper funding to our local enforcement agencies so that never again such corruption will take place affecting our entire community and the reputation of our homeland as a whole.

Our elected leaders and government officials must be mindful, cautious and learn that if you decide to involve yourselves in corruption, do not think twice but think three times or four times, for we the people of the commonwealth are seriously watching and listening.
