Forty PBA members woke up early morning on Sunday to conduct, September 20, 2009a Clean-up drive. The activity gave PBA members a chance to help keep Palau beautiful and to get to mingle with the old and the new faces who shares similar passion on the sport of badminton. The five kilometer walk started from the Palau National Gym and ended at the JAPAN-PALAU Friendship Bridge at Koror side. After which, the participants had time to relax and feast on a wonderful breakfast while they come together to share some laughter and stories under the shade of the bridge.
In connection, PBA would also like to announce the ongoing registration for 2nd Surangel’s Cup in which the deadline of submission of entry will be on Thursday, September 24, 2009 and the first game will begin right after a short opening program on Saturday the 26th. Tournament will be conducted at Palau High School Spider Gym every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays, from 6:30pm-9:30pm.
