Officer Catherine Pangelinan said she arrived at the scene to respond to a car burglary incident at 8:09 p.m.
The victim lost his wallet and different identification and credit cards as well as a laptop which he left in his car.
The victim said the laptop was valued at $1,700, and had extra batteries and accessories.
The victim parked his car in the theater parking lot at about 4:30 p.m.
The victim told police he locked the car before watching a movie with his family.
When the victim and his family returned from watching a movie, they were surprised to find the car door open, police said.
After checking the car, the victim discovered that his laptop and wallet were stolen.
There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
Department of Public Safety acting spokesman PO2 Jason Tarkong said anyone having information about this crime should call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 234-7272.
All calls are kept anonymous, no caller ID is used and a reward of up to $1,000 is given for any information leading to an arrest.
