Fernandez, Borja lift Tinian past BoG, 101-94

Leo Pascua fired the first three-pointer of the game to help Tinian set a five-point lead at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter however, Pete Iguel poured 16 of his 30 points for BoG to come from behind.

Fernandez gained the momentum back as Ringo Reyes rampaged with 10 points to take the lead again.

With Pascua and Julian Santos backing them up, Fernandez continued the surge then, Tony Borja blasted from the behind the arc to stretch the lead in the last few minutes of the final quarter.

Tinian turned the game over then Borja fired another three-pointer to set the score to 101 for good.

McGraw-Hill-PSS 96, ARFF 53

Jose Tumaquip fired 13 of his 19 points to help McGraw-Hill-Public School System set a wide gap in the first quarter, and Derek Aughenbaugh scored eight to help rout

Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting, 96-53.

PSS kept the gap wide open all the way to the final buzzer to secure their win.

Tumaquip was the leading scorer with 19 points while Peter Mendiola chipped 15 points.

Ace Uchel led ARFF’s scoring hands firing 12 points.
