Members of the Ngulu Atoll Resources Management Committee, including Chief Mike Ragmau, met with Yap CAP and Mary Rose, who is a coordinator under the Micronesia Conservation Trust at the FSM national government.
They reviewed the plan and discussed detail on how it should be implemented.
The groups also discussed funds received by the Micronesia Conservation Trust through the German Life Web Grant.
These grants have enabled the purchase of a 40-horse power outboard motor, a complete VHF marine communication system and a radar system for use in monitoring the conservation area in the atoll.
The tower for the radar system will soon be erected in Ngulu Atoll once the MV Hapilmohol returns back from the neighboring islands to pick up the contractors with the materials and accessories to go to Ngulu.
