Dean Ngirarikel appeared for arraignment on Tuesday and entered a not guilty plea to his assault and battery, assault, malicious mischief and disturbing the peace charges.
Ngirarikel was released from custody after he posted $400 surety bond.He was ordered to stay away from victims Marlon Sanchez and Danilo Duenas and their residence.The affidavit of probable cause stated that victim was at his room at his residence in Ngiwal and was watching television on the night of August 9 when he heard a noise.The victim then saw defendant standing inside his room and suddenly punched him in the face.After threatening to kill the victim, the defendant left.Duenas was at the same room earlier when he heard the defendant’s calling for his name.When he went out of the room, he saw the defendant physically assaulted the victim.Duenas left and called police for assistance.The document stated that defendant kicked the victim’s room and went inside to assault the victim.The document further stated that defendant admitted he went out for a drink when he saw the victim’s barracks and remembered an incident between them which occurred several months ago.The defendant admitted that he went inside the victim’s room and started to argue with him. He then pushed him in the face and left.
