The incident was reported to the police at 10:35 am by police officer in Peleliu.
Lt. Peter Napoleon said that the police officer reported that the burglary and grand larceny occurred at a residence in Koska, Peleliu.The suspect managed to enter the residence and stole money which was placed inside the closet.The suspect stole $20,000 cash from the victim’s residence.The money is a cash sale from the victim’s store and other businesses.No suspect has been identified as of this time and the case is now under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Section.Meanwhile, a yellow school bus was found damaged on Sunday night.The malicious mischief incident was reported to the police at 6:27 pm.The yellow school bus two rare passenger windows were both shattered.A woman also called police on Saturday morning and reported that someone went to her residence in Ngerias and stole three 15 inch tires with rims.
