Bureau of Public Safety Director Norvert Yano said the police officer identified as PO1 Clayton Ngiraked sustained laceration in the head and broken leg.
Yano said he is still confined at the hospital but he is now in stable condition.The incident was reported to the police at 6:30 pm.Yano said Ngiraked drove the fire truck on Friday night for a test drive.While the vehicle was travelling on the road, it suddenly went off the road and overturned.Yano said cause for the accident is still under investigation.
