Congratulations and welcome back Sean Troy Mateo and Maverick Lo Yamanaka! As primary speller and alternate speller, they represented Northern Marianas International School in the 2022 Scripps Regional Spelling Bee at Tiyan High School on Guam, Saturday, March 12, 2022. They were accompanied by their proud parents and NMIS’s William “Bill” Matson. After competing with 39 other students from the CNMI and Guam, Sean Troy Mateo finished first runner up! “Thank you, NMIS family, for your full support! Thank you, CNMI-PSS for the opportunity!”
