Philippine consulate to conduct 4-day outreach mission on Saipan

THE Philippine Consulate General on Guam will conduct a four-day consular outreach mission on Saipan from March 25 to 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Sun Palace Hotel in Susupe.

The consulate general said 560 Filipinos in the CNMI are scheduled for biometrics and personal data capture for their ePassport applications.

The consulate general is reminding applicants to check their schedule by contacting 670-285-4388 or 670-483-6023. You can also visit the consulate general’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/PHinAgana

Due to the current health protocols implemented on Saipan:

1) Only applicants who have secured their appointment will be allowed at the venue — no escorts are allowed, except for persons with disabilities or minor applicants;

2) Applicants are advised to show up at the venue on the date and time indicated in the schedule;

3) Wearing of mask and physical distancing will be strictly observed;

4) Passport applicants should wear proper attire (with collar and sleeves) for data capture purposes.

For consular services, including passport renewal, that require civil registration documents (e.g. birth certificate and marriage certificate), only documents from the Philippine Statistics Authority or its predecessor National Statistics Office will be accepted.

The mobile consular outreach team will likewise offer other consular services such as notarization/legalization, civil registry, and acceptance of dual citizenship applications.
