A RED Toyota sedan was cornered by multiple police vehicles near YCO Hardware True Value in Garapan on Beach Road after a brief chase Friday afternoon.
As of Sunday, the Department of Public Safety had not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
Prior to the chase, police were called to check the sedan that was blocking traffic on the southbound lane of Beach Road in Garapan near the basketball court, across from the Bank of Guam building.
A police officer approached the sedan from the driver side and opened the vehicle’s door.
A witness said the driver looked surprised as if he had just woken up.
He then drove away but was apprehended near YCO Hardware True Value on Beach Road.
No other information regarding the driver was available as of Sunday afternoon.
