THE Department of Public Safety is asking the community’s help to identify two individuals who burglarized the Veterans of Foreign Wars Sports Bar in Garapan on Nov. 26.

According to DPS, it received a 911 call around 1:25 p.m. Friday last week, Nov. 26, reporting a burglary and theft incident at the VFW bar.
At the scene, a staff member of the establishment stated that unknown individuals had broken into the bar and “messed the place.” The burglars also stole 10 or 11 bottles of tequila and whiskey.
Surveillance video footage shows two individuals wearing light-colored hoodies and light-colored shorts walking throughout the bar. One of them had a dark-colored bag pack.
DPS is reminding the public to be diligent when purchasing or when being offered any bottles of liquor or sports bar-related items from any individual.
