THE Saipan Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly general membership meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Saipan ballroom.
Topics and guest speakers include:
• Finance Secretary David DLG Atalig who will speak about ARPA progress and projects as well as the new online system.
• Ray Muna of the NMC apprenticeship program will talk about how the apprenticeship program can offer training for employees pertaining to their daily work, from soft skills to technical skills pertaining to job-specific work duties.
• Professional Development Award, which is provided for chamber members to encourage businesses to equip their employees with the skills needed to grow, thrive, and succeed.
• Board of directors election. There are four seats that will be filled by any of the six nominees this year. There are nine total seats that make up the chamber’s board of directors.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 12 noon. The luncheon fee is $25/chamber member and $35/non-member.
