TO ensure a seamless reopening of public schools, the Public School System is providing key information for the upcoming school year, which begins on Aug. 19. This includes a registration requirement for all incoming kindergarten and grades 1 through 12 students across public schools in Rota, Tinian, and Saipan.
Parents, guardians, and all stakeholders are encouraged to stay updated with announcements from public schools.
Commissioner of Education Dr. Lawrence F. Camacho said his office — along with various programs and services — has been working and collaborating with public elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as Head Start/Early Head Start, Early Intervention, and Special Education Programs, to ensure a safe and smooth resumption of classes across the islands.
“It’s always been our goal to ensure a smooth and organized opening of every school year. This is why we work with all our stakeholders to provide students and parents with necessary support systems and guidance—making the first day of class less challenging for everyone,” Dr. Camacho said.
Easy registration
For kindergarten students, registration began on June 13 and is ongoing.
All children who turn five years old on or before Sept. 30, 2025, must be registered and enrolled in a school for School Year 2025–2026.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to contact their respective school administrator or registrar.
Parents who have a Campus Parent Portal account must log in to update student registrations required for their household.
For students with existing active enrollment from the last school year (2024–2025), parents should access the “Existing Online Registration” section on the portal.
