CNMI SBDC urges business community to register for 2026 Industry Day sessions

(Press Release) — The CNMI Small Business Development Center Network at Northern Marianas College is encouraging members of the local business community to register in advance for Industry Day 2026, a three-day, tri-island event focused on sharing updates, resources, and opportunities related to federal and government contracting.

Industry Day will be held consecutively across the Commonwealth on the following dates:

Saipan

Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026 | Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Hibiscus Hall, Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan (Garapan)

Tinian

Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026 | Doors open at 9:30 a.m.

Bar-K-Diner (San Jose)

Rota

Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026 | Doors open at 10 a.m.

Puesto Grill Annex (Songsong)

Registration confirms a participant’s seat during the general session presentations, where representatives from Pacific Air Forces, NAVFAC Marianas and local partners will share insight into contracting processes, upcoming opportunities, and how CNMI businesses can engage as prime contractors or subcontractors.

Industry Day is open to businesses at all stages — including those new to government contracting and those already working toward eligibility. Sessions are designed to provide practical information, regional context, and a clearer understanding of what opportunities may be available and how businesses can prepare for them.

“Industry Day is about making information accessible and actionable for our business community,” said Nadine Deleon Guerrero Kintol, director of the CNMI SBDC Network. “By registering, businesses are ensuring they have a seat in the room to hear directly from the agencies and partners shaping opportunity in our region.”

Throughout the event, participants can expect:

– Updates from federal and military partners on procurement and contracting

– Insight into how businesses can position themselves for future opportunities

– Information on resources and support available through the CNMI SBDC Network

– Opportunities to network with presenters, partners, and fellow business owners

Each Industry Day event will also include time dedicated to networking and engagement, allowing participants to continue conversations, ask questions, and explore potential next steps following the general sessions.

Advance registration is strongly encouraged, as seating for general sessions is limited and helps organizers plan accordingly for each island location.

Please note: Doors open scheduled times will be strictly enforced to allow event coordinators and exhibitors time to set up. Doors will not open sooner than what has been pre-scheduled.
