Launched last Tuesday at the McDonald’s Saipan Middle Road and Garapan Express outlets, McDonald’s manager Marcia Ayuyu said that the McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade has been an instant hit with the community, especially with teenagers and students even during the first day.
“We sold over a hundred orders on the first day, and yesterday, the figures more than tripled. We are expecting to serve more patrons over the weekend,” Ayuyu said.
The McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is the perfect thirst quencher especially during these hot summer months, Ayuyu said.
The taste of lemonade will dominate your taste buds but the tangy flavor ends as the strawberry blends its way in so you get to savor two flavors in one. Nothing beats the joy of sipping and swirling the refreshing lemonade slush and strawberry flavor in your mouth on a warm summer day.
The McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is a cool glass of strawberry flavored syrup surrounding an island of lemonade ice slush available in small or 12 oz. size for $2.99, medium or 16 oz. at $3.75 and large or 22 oz. size at $5.
Yesterday morning, employees and clients of the IT&E and the Docomo Pacific got a free taste of McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade in their offices. Yesterday noon, students from Grace Christian Academy and other diners at the McDonald’s Chalan Pale Arnold Road were offered free tasting of the McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade which Ayuyu herself brewed in the smoothie machine.
Ayuyu said they are planning to visit more establishments to offer free tasting of the McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade to urge the community to visit the McDonald’s outlets to sample it.
“We know that most of our customers are busy and may not have the luxury of time to go out and sample our products, so we will go to them,” Ayuyu said.
Next month, they will be launching another thirst-quencher — the pineapple-mango smoothie.
The McCafé Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is available at both the Middle Road outlet and the Express outlet in Garapan.
McDonald’s Saipan Garapan Express is open 24 hours daily while the Chalan Pale Arnold Middle Road Branch is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
