THE Truth Be Told, WE the People are faced with the “Kobayashi Maru Test” (a fictional unpassable test) that is a real phenomenon in OUR efforts to install New & Better Leadership to find real sustainable progress. We have been virtually recycling the Same-O Party & Leaders for nearly two decades, as its even common knowledge that most of the so-call Independents are really Republicans who only fly the Independent Banner to SIT like WE see with the Independent Candidate for Governor who was a Republican. Heck Ralph, whom many view as the WORST-Governor-Ever has the nerve to run because tooooo many voters “CARE more about the Republican Party over the CNMI” even when it means denying progress with their bigotry towards outsiders. The Republican leadership has only served to take All-Of-Us Backwards, which no-one-can-deny. It’s not the Kobayashi Maru to set the conditions for progress but our legislature refuses to TRY!
Now WE the People are faced with the Kobayashi Maru in the shortage of labor due to our BEST Locals leaving for the American Dream on the mainland & CWs leaving due to no work with a “domino-effect” in the shortage of No-New-Blood for Leadership literally forcing all-of-us to continue “recycling the Same-O Leaders who have Already-FAILED-Us” which is the Kobayashi Maru Test in a unwinnable scenario for Change & Progress. Wisdom also dictates, “you can’t fix a problem with the Same-O (Republican) Mind-set that caused the problem,” Albert Eistien. It’s clear that OUR counterpart voters on the mainland are poised to FIRE many of the Republicans in office, but I don’t see that same attitude in the CNMI, as “One’s Attitude Does Indeed Determine Your Altitude.” If OUR Leaders & Voters don’t change, then the CNMI will remain on the Same-O Course that’s going backwards and full of impotency poli-tricking, deflecting, gaslighting & begging the Feds to save-us-from-ourselves,” as WE are on a course to NOWHERE”! Just ask a leader “What are OUR Economic Goals” they don’t have an answer — just waiting for investors to determine our “future & fate” with No Self-Reliance & Esteem!
We are now over two years-in since the conception of the EVS-TAP that I Told readers was an up-hill battle and even impossible given the “adversarial-politics of America & China” that WE are virtually POWERLESS to influence. Kilili never did a lot of “Local Speeches to the Chamber but the Delegate is using the Chamber to literally “keep sitting by deflecting & gaslighting issues only preaching to the choir (voters) and even blaming her own Party when she should be fighting “tooth & nails in Washington to get to Trump” who really pulls all the strings. I Told her and the entire CNMI 2 yrs. ago that her Republican Party was her BIGGEST challenge and that the Feds were AGAINST China, as WE needed to FIND a PLAN-B to target other markets for Tourism until the Politics of D.C. changes! But No, the Powers-that-Be in the CNMI do NOT listen to an educated Political Scientist & Scholar to our DEMISE! If millions of Chinese do travel to the mainland under existing Visa Programs, then WHY can’t they travel to the CNMI. WHY does the CNMI need special conditions only for the CNMI that should be for ALL American Islands in the Pacific! It should be obvious by now that “this teacher puts our leaders to the TEST” that’s not the Kobayashi Maru and they still FAIL to deliver FOR their People due to you-know-what!
It’s truly hard to see the lack-of-leadership in how THEY are denying our own Progress with things that WE can control & master.
1) WHY is Zoning able to DENY Progress without any Public Input, as Zoning refuses to even allow “Private 420 Events on Private Property to promote the Cannabis Industry.” It defies logic to have legalized marijuana but denying any events that can promote the industry — Progress Denied due to No Leadership to fix the problem.
2) WHY did the Legislature create the conditions for a Hemp Industry and yet Ambrodamus is the ONLY one pushing for the industry to become a reality when it’s OBVIOUS the CNMI needs New Industries & New Revenue Sources — Oh, the Hemp Industry was Ambrodamus’ idea and you know what (“B”) got in the way denying progress & prosperity FOR the People AGAIN!
3) I’ve also just learned that Zoning capriciously denied the potential “Zip Line Investors” the opportunity to create Ziplines without any Public Input when Zip Lines is a GREAT Idea as they are not intrusive nor destructive to the environment and Tourists of all ages & nationalities LOVE to ride Ziplines — Progress Denied.
4) WHY does Zoning want to charge Locals to use THEIR Easement to sell their “Arts & Crafts and Local Food to Tourists,” as Zoning should identify certain easements as “Free, first come-first serve, Tourists Stand Zones,” especially when the Local Arts & Crafts are dying with mostly the People of Rota being the only ones who know how to weave certain animals & objects.
If WE the People don’t Change and at least “Say & Do Something” to put an end to the “Impotency & Denial of Progress” and allowing “Skulldungary-Politics” like the MACS Scam that gave away OUR Future for TAYA & Failed Promises to go unchecked through Oversight, then WE Deserve the Impotency & Failed Progress that WE get in return for OUR Impotency — it’s that simple for failing to be “informed & active citizens regardless of the “source (outside or local) for change & improvements” as TRUTH will always & eventually conquer ALL!
