OPINION ǀ Truth 75: CNMI’s Forecast, CPA-CEDA & Thanks Commissioner Torres!

THE Truth of the matter is with Trump-2.0, the political, economic & social forecast for America & the CNMI is gloomy with all kinds of social, economic, political & judicial Super Tornados on the mainland with Super Typhoons developing here even before Trump takes office.  Common sense should tell most of us that if the mainland of America is predicted to experience pure HELL under Trump, then it doesn’t take a genius to know the CNMI’s Forecast is going to be suffering double, Hell-2.0, for TRUE!  Trump is planning to literally SHRED our government totally destroying some Departments not to mention our foreign policies, HELL 2.0! However, it’s not our Delegate that WE should worry about but the “ideology & methodologies of Republicans,” as the mainland Republicans are “cutting everything including people” which spells big trouble for our forecast. The bag full of Balutan (free take-outs) WE got from our Fathers-in-Washington with Kilili & Democrats may be limited and it may be only one paper plate figuratively, for TRUE. So, “buckle your seat belts America & CNMI,” its predicted to be a rough flight under Trump just like I predicted in my 2018 book, “The Audacity to Change.”

OUR new Delegate is promising a lot that’s an uphill battle but unlike the rift of noncooperation between Republicans & Kilili, our Republican Governor & Legislature need to do all they can to be on the same page in helping her — for TRUE! But WE should all be concerned the Governor has been paying a Republican lobbyist, Fred Radewagen, when Kilili was our Delegate and now he raises his salary when WE are literally counting pennies. What can this Lobbyist do that our Delegate can’t do, as his 50,000-dollar salary is nothing compared to other lobbyists in Washington who have million-dollar war chests. Who does the Governor think he is fooling. We haven’t seen this kind of subterfuge since Gov. Froilan Tenorio, who was paying a lobbyist in opposition to Washington Rep. Juan Babauta. What is going on with this lobbyist who obviously NOT working with OUR Delegate(s) but FOR the Governor, which makes NO sense. It’s just another waste of OUR money like the Cannabis Commission!  But Trump also spells TROUBLE for the People’s RICO prosecution of Ralph’s charges.  It is clear Trump is going to protect all of his loyalists regardless of the legal merits & moral expectations of our laws & society, so Trump Jr. (Ralph) is celebrating. But God ain’t sleeping, as OUR BOOST vengeance is God’s & coming, for TRUE!

There is a FOG forecast for OUR air travel, as I’ve seen this movie before with Managaha — subterfuge. WHY is Marianas Air getting PREFERENTIAL treatment with an offer to pay NO taxes for 25 years while CPA is in a BIG hurry to get rid of Star Marianas after 15 years of proven service when they should be trying to “keep & get airlines,” as competition breeds quality & cheaper flights FOR the People. The Institutional politics smells at CPA and is stronger since Mr. Ayuyu left.  I guess he was too Good & doing too RIGHT about his job and didn’t want to play ugly institutional politics. Maybe he will join the Democrats and do ALL of us a favor with his obvious skills as Governor, just a thought. Anyway, CEDA is also in “conflict deciding on Star Marianas Fee Complaint & the Qualifying Certificate Application of Marianas Air” FOR the People without OUR consent, as this job is for elected officials, not a semi-autonomous entity.  It’s “subterfuge takeover of the interisland air travel” right in our faces pushing Star Marianas out for Marianas Air — GOP poli-tricks. It truly smells with CEDA covering for the Governor out-of-the-blue & in conflict, as I’m sure the stench is going to get worse before it’s over!

But I must say a Dunkalu THANKS to Department of Corrections Commissioner Anthony Torres for his professionalism in running the prison and his RESPECT to hear what HIS People want to say about the housing of Guam inmates, as it is a community issue. I will only add my two cents for consideration, as I believe it is a great idea BUT, I think WE should not “mix the inmates” but limit our liabilities and just lease Guam the unused Juvenile Facility and let Guam operate it under the consultation of one CNMI Senior Official monitoring each shift. Guam will be totally responsible for everything, which is all the liabilities for housing inmates. WE get jobs for Locals and just collect the lease payments & salary for CNMI Officials with virtually no liabilities, make the easy money. Or, WE can “exchange leases” so the CNMI can build its own Hotel/Villa on Guam for our Medical Referral Program — break the rental paradigm. A suggestion to avoid liabilities, but unlike my sad & crying critics, LOL, I’m sure the majority of People, who attend Mass and may not even agree with everything I write, KNOW in their hearts & minds I’m not the enemy but a messenger who is obviously offering HOPE for a BETTER CNMI and a BETTER Quality of life — for ALL, for TRUE!
