THE Truth of the matter is first & foremost there needs to be an investigation and a Writ to put the GOP Power-Subterfuge in check, as it is clear CPA, a Republican Strong-Hole and CEDA, another Republican Strong-Hole clearly appear to be working “In-Concert” to get rid of Star Marianas and replace them with Marianas Air — skullduggery for TRUE! Star Marianas needs to take CPA to Court to insure a “fair outcome.” I predicted the smell would get worse, and now Mr. Tudela, CPA’s Executive Director, whom I truly respect, is even running for cover behind his attorney and I don’t blame him. It truly appears that someone very powerful in the GOP is driving & pulling the strings for this attack on Star Marianas while the unknown Marianas Air is getting the ROYAL-Treatment in our faces and even taking money out of our pockets in taxes. Yes, they can offer cheaper fares because WE will have paid for them in 25 years of uncollected taxes. I guess we’re supposed to be stupid!
The Governor suddenly claiming CEDA as being our Economic Experts after all these years didn’t fool me nor anyone who has been paying attention. I knew CEDA was covering FOR the Governor and now WE can ALL see the real reason WHY. The Governor had to be part of this subterfuge, as he “HAD to KNOW the variables & issues in this matter” when he turned it over to HIS Republicans at CPA & CEDA to literally “do HIS dirty work.” WHY would WE the People want to get rid of Star Marianas and their taxes FOR Marianas Air and NO Taxes when both are offering the very same service — it’s Kaduku, for TRUE, but WE are NOT stupid Governor! I also know from their previous lackadaisicalness that our Legislature IS NOT going to weigh-in with “checks & balances nor oversight on the Governor & this issue.” So, I will speak-up FOR the People, as I want to know WHEN & WHERE is the People’s Public Hearing on this Republican Power-Play (subterfuge), as NO Taxes is truly an issue FOR the House and/or the People, but surely not CEDA. WE saw the GOP’s “No Taxes Movie” with Best Sunshine, and here it is AGAIN! There’s also Ralph’s BOOST giveaway and now it’s Arnold’s Cannabis Commissioner nepotism & Marianas Air favoritism with NO-Taxes-Giveaway, HELLER Oversight where are U!
WE have all seen these GOP Power-Plays before, look at how they shut La Fiesta down for TAYA, look at the Exclusive Casino Deal & No Taxes that killed Tinian’s Casino and now our Economy, look at the Managaha Deal of Big Business running-over the small-guys, and now its “interisland air travel.” It’s not that I don’t like Republicans, it’s the fact that the Republicans starting with Fitial became corrupt and are dug-in soooo deep in ALL of OUR Boards & Commissions. Republicans have “absolute-power and WE are seeing HOW absolute power ABSOLUTELY corrupts.” When are the Democrats in the Legislature going to start doing their job FOR the People with real checks & balances and stop the rubber-stamping FOR the Governor. Where are the Local Concerned Citizens & Activists or Group going to show up to stop this subterfuge saying enough! WHY should WE the People, give up MILLIONS in taxes over the next 25 years so Marianas Air can establish their virtual Monopoly, as competition will NOT be able to compete with Marianas Air’s Tax-Free operation creating a virtual EXCLUSIVE Airline Power-Play by Republicans FOR Marianas Air that WE saw with the casino. This GOP is still using the Same-O Subterfuge Playbook, yet NO one is trying to stop them, as WE need scores FOR the People, not for the GOP. WE get what the majority vote FOR, Republican Subterfuge and if the Democrats & the People don’t change, and start fighting FOR the CNMI, the CNMI will NEVER change FOR the Better-for TRUE!
On a personal note: Its obvious the Governor should have asked me to be his advisor instead of stabbing me in the back to save his relative Joe Palacios’ job. NOT worth it! Now Joe Palacios, who LIED about his 144-IQ, is smiling but can’t do anything to help the Governor nor the CNMI — for TRUE!
