THE TRUTH is, the People of the CNMI have been quietly blackballed by the Republicans which has been proven entirely too many times every time the GOP forces something down our throats that started with the casino and now it’s EVERYTHING else — for TRUE! But it should be duly noted that the main cause of the blackballing is the Activist Ambrose who led the effort to stop the casino, as everything Ambrose has been associated with since that time has been faced with being blackballed. However, the Republicans think that by blackballing Ambrose they have defeated the opposition for change, as Ambrose is the only ACTIVE Activist. But in reality, they are STOPPING real PROGRESS FOR the People by virtually killing everything I’ve written for CHANGE — Hope & PROGRESS! Ambrose has proven & Told You So too many times that the People end up suffering from their efforts to stop or ignore Ambrose. I’m sure the average reader can now see that something is VERY WRONG and whoever is pushing the Dem’s bigotry & ignoring stance or wants to be Governor truly needs to woman or man-up to put an end to this, as I truly don’t like doing this even though what activists & Special Interest Groups do is “a recognized necessary & proper evil for accountable government,” in the Federalist Papers. Maybe One Day, it will be common knowledge that rejecting Ambrose’s suggestions for improvements was a waste hurting THEIR People, not Ambrose!
How can the Dems be so quiet about the nepotism & failures by the Governor when its actually their job to hold him accountable FOR their People! But they can’t, as Ambrose is doing their job, and they don’t know HOW to get out of the bigotry & ignoring loop that’s taking the Party DOWN from self-inflicted wounds. The virus of blackballing is “usually a candidate applying to become a member of a private club), typically by means of a secret ballot.” However, blackballing was also a tool used against Blacks to prevent OUR social, economic and political growth in society. Well, blackballing Ambrose has surely proven to prevent the social, economic and political growth of the CNMI that Ambrose has promoted for over two decades FOR the People. It would be totally different if there had been arguments of merit against the things Ambrose has promoted but there has been a resounding silence that implies Ambrose is RIGHT on the merits of the issues. But bigotry led to blackballing Ambrose that was really blackballing THEIR People! Heck, DFS just closed plunging HOPE deeper into the abyss & TAYA from Arnold who’s fighting HIS GOP and paying HIS Lobbyist when WE have OUR own Delegate! I guess Arnold didn’t get the memo: former Gov. Lang was “ousted mainly for paying HIS lobbyists when WE have a Delegate.”
Zaldy also reminded us again by sharing his “knowledge of our past” on how WE continue and are even DOOMED to repeat the very same mistake with this group of Republicans, which is really another form of insanity — for TRUE! I was glad he mentioned uncle & Governor Lorenzo Deleon Guerrero, as WE needed to be reminded of his statement to the U.S. Congress on HOW the CNMI had grown and become of age and how Gov. Lang Tenorio had recognized that growth and wanted to “wean the CNMI off the Federal Dollars” that has turned the CNMI into a welfare state which continues to this day. But just think if the Feds had done what Governor Tenorio wanted, the CNMI would have been FORCED to continue growing instead of sitting back and begging for billions in Federal dollars that are wasted. WE got over two billion (15 x our budget) under Ralph alone but now look at the waste & pilfering in the HUNDREDS of millions with TAYA to show for it — it’s Ka duku! Weaning is “a necessary & tough natural process for growing & becoming self-sufficient.” However, the CNMI is in limbo with no plan and a very long ways from being self-sufficient. WE couldn’t even create our own cattle industry when there were cattle everywhere on Tinian & Luta but no slaughterhouse. Now WE are getting poor quality beef from New Zealand instead of our own & cheaper Angus beef with NO Hope for self-sufficiency with our beef consumption.
Just Keeping Hope Alive in the CNMI is now a very real struggle, as there is NOTHING to even be hopeful for, as WE continue to brace for Republican subterfuge instead of having a glimmer of hope for just anything going forward. Arnold sold the People a “pig-in-the- sack” with his “TRUST Promise” when it was obvious WE needed an “Economic Recovery Plan of Reforms” to improve the CNMI. The President and virtually every Governor are “informally required to have a PLAN FOR their People”! So, if the next gubernatorial candidates don’t have this plan, it should be common knowledge to “send them home” rejected — for real! WE can’t keep falling for Republican Poli-tricking & name changes with a “pig-in-the-sack platform” when WE can’t even see the pig figuratively! I’m sure the informed & objective People with common sense now prefer Ambrose’s suggestions over Republican’s Poli-tricking & Pig-in-a-sack BS!
As Jesse Jackson used to say to us at our Civil Rights meetings in Memphis with Dr. King, “KEEP Hope Alive or it will surely DIE”! Well, it has gotten so bad in the CNMI that HOPE is a lost commodity that needs to be found, and the Dems are not helping by being totally silent because of an outspoken economist — Ambrose! The Dems are self-destructing just like the CNMI is sir-coming to from their own self-inflicted wounds by Republicans. Republicans have made it virtually common knowledge that “YOU will be blackballed for going against Republicans” (no government job)” that seems to even have Dems afraid. I’m sure 90% if not more of our Government Employees are Republicans now. But WE the People should NEVER be afraid to OWN OUR government, and I’ll continue, like God did with Sodom & Gomorrah, until at least ONE Dem or Independent steps forward to give us real HOPE! Whoever is talking behind my back & keeping the Dems silent need to talk with ME to end this, as it’s clear WE the People need a real option for Governor to save us from the Republicans who care more about their party & power than the rest of us. It was NEVER about Ambrose the messenger like the-GOP wants the People to think, but about Ambrose’s messages and our present & future! WE need YOU Dems and WE are waiting for the People’s Party to show up in the race for Governor, as Arnold has already left the starting line — HELLER! But I do know for TRUE of at least ONE who’s respected & proven herself as the CNMI’s Executive Secretary under “BB,” her committee work in the House and as a Senator that she can be a GREAT Democrat Governor. Biba Dems and please Keep Hope Alive for the sake of us ALL, as CHANGE in our voting is truly needed to save our Commonwealth from the Economic Abyss — for TRUE!
