IF there is one TRUE & Common Concern that WE all share, it is for the CNMI to become a Better Place to live with a much Better Economy. The only way WE the People can achieve this is with a BETTER Government. Everyone with common knowledge and common sense have to KNOW that the Republicans had MORE than their fair share of power and control for the past two decades resulting in a CNMI teetering on the brink of economic collapse. The only thing keeping us afloat is the Federal Stimulus Funds and even those funds are being manipulated for the personal intentions of the Governor, not the People and their Representatives.
The Governor tried to sell us ANOTHER one of his “PROSPERITY LIES” when WE were told that Sour Korean Tourists were NOW our primary Tourists Market inadvertently admitting to the death of the casino and the Chinese Tourist Market. People with common knowledge about how this Governor continues to “misled, gaslight-us and even LIE to us.” He even gaslighted the EDA Grant for 19.6 million to rebuild our Department of Finance is somehow going to create 1,500 jobs — for HIS Loyalists of course even though it’s unbelievable increase in jobs. We really need those people who continue to vote Republican REGARDLESS, to exercise more “common sense,” as one definition for insanity is “voting for Republicans over and over expecting a different result” but look what it got us — just look around and tell me what you see that is new and better for YOU!
WE the People have common concerns over the failed and now dead casino that Republicans forced down our throats and to reward them with re-election defies the common knowledge and common sense that WE should all process. It’s like the Republicans can do whatever they want with impunity when they ALL need to be taught a lesson and FIRED. Do WE the People really want to allow this kind of gaslighting, nepotism, favoritism & manipulating government to continue or do we have the same concerns and same common sense as a majority to change our government? NO ONE can see how you vote so stop being AFRAID! I’m truly hoping Government Workers will just “play-along” and do the Republicans just like they did YOU when they doubled-crossed us ALL with the casino even letting IPI hold OUR 57 Million that the Governor has NOT even tried to collect even though everyone else is taking IPI to court. File suite for OUR money Governor if you really care!
I hear the Governor, Vinnie and Crew went to the mainland for the well-known “Labor Day Politics.” I just hope it was at their OWN cost and not ours, which is why I hope the House of Representatives will conduct a “Committee Oversight” just to make sure. The Governor should be working his tail off trying to set the conditions to rebuild our economy but he is off politicking a full year in advance as if things are OK back home when we are still suffering. And don’t forget his family’s Northern Island trip WE paid for in the middle of this pandemic.
Everything I mentioned is common knowledge and assuming the majority of voters have common sense, it shouldn’t be any question about what voters are going to do when WE FINALLY get a chance to change things — don’t fall for the politics of Torres, Arnold, Angel or any of them if you really want a NEW and BETTER CNMI.
