THE fiasco that AD started to try and sway Democrats by asking for a meeting with the Democrats continues on Luta. The recent photo and announcement that “Rota Democrats support AD” was very misleading and even scandalous given the Democrat Candidate for Governor has yet to even announce her running mate nor her plans for the CNMI that I’m sure includes Luta. The AD-team’s “poli-tricks” won’t fool anyone who is truly informed.
I’m a member of the Executive Committee and I know the Democrat Party had NOTHING to do with this alleged endorsement of AD, especially when two of the people in the picture with AD are Apatang family members and WE know what that implies — more family politics to poli-trick the general public just like we saw with the staged meeting that was sabotaged by former Speaker Guerrero.
I’m sure the majority of voters on Luta and Tinian have come to realize the insanity of continuing to elect Republicans expecting a different result. AD didn’t promise anything that they were going to do for Luta. They just showed-up and magically got an endorsement of THEIR OWN making, not the Democrat Party.
There is also an alleged group of people who are supposed to be running for office that implies Tinian has already selected their opposition candidates, but none of them have declared themselves to be Democrats. In fact, one is a well-known Republican just like AD are STILL Republicans who KILLED Tinian’s Casino & Tourism.
The Republicans don’t have a clue when it comes to our economy as it is no secret Republicans have touted “investors for two decades” like Rep. Lee Pan was recently doing. But in reality, these Republicans have been placing their hopes and our hopes on foreign investors instead of doing the hard work to expand and rebuild our economy with family-oriented attractions and the promotion of Local & American Entrepreneurship. We must STOP leaving the stewardship of the CNMI up to foreign investors. Best Sunshine PROMISED the “moon & stars” but now look at what WE the People ended up with, an IPI white-elephant in Garapan and no lease for the Mariana Resort nor La Fiesta. Arnold played a big role in these failures by turning a “blind-eye.”
AD and the Governor are the SAME BREED of Politicians — Republicans. Now Arnold wants voters to believe he has SOOOOO MUCH integrity and character that “WE can TRUST him to REBUILD TRUST” which is why I keep saying these Republicans really think WE the People are STUPID and even BLIND. How can anyone who is not a Republican “die-heart” even consider the “dichotomy” that is being proposed by AD because in the end they are still Republicans when the CNMI needs REAL change not superficial “trust rhetoric.” AD are trying to give the impression that Democrats are voting for them which couldn’t be further from the truth than the Pegasus Galaxy that is approximately three million light years from our Milky Way Galaxy.
Luta and Tinian need to be leading the march to elect Rep. Tina Sablan and her running mate if these islands truly want to give themselves a chance to change and improve the pathetic quality of life they are experiencing. It was Republicans who KILLED their casinos and air-travel to both of these islands and for most voters to even consider Republicans really defies logic. I’m sure most of the voters on Luta and Tinian are not stupid and will surely vote for real change, not the same old AD-Republicans who had their chances for over two decades and FAILED to help Luta nor Tinian! One people, one direction.
