THE wisdom of our past experiences with “trial & error” has proven that “if something is not broken that WE shouldn’t be trying to fix it” — Washington, as the only result will be destructive. Delegate Kilili has done an extraordinary job in Washington FOR the People of the CNMI. Kilili has created a great working relationship within the U.S. Congress by caucusing with the Democrats who are truly “the People’s Party.” The caucus Kilili established has allowed him to do tremendous work in getting the CNMI Federal Aid from education, our environment, our economy, help for those living at or below the poverty level and more — KUDOS and THANKS Kilili! It is really no secret and obvious to the average voter that Ed Propst is the ONLY one who can legitimately inherit the powerbase established by Kilili that WE should not try to change with someone who is not a Democrat. Sending Ed Propst to Washington is what most of us with common sense say is “a NO-BRAINER” for TRUE!
It is not the time to change our Delegate’s powerbase and you don’t have to be a political scientist to know that WE as a People need to send a Democrat (BLUE) to take his place, as Jane Mack so eloquently said. Kilili has already established a proven caucus with Democrats, so WHY would WE the People even think about changing it, as if it needed fixing. None of the other candidates can come close to being able to fill the shoes of Kilili because they are not Democrats, and you must have a party behind you in the U.S. Congress where “adversarial politics & teamwork” bump heads every day. Politics, especially in Washington, is “the ultimate Team Sport” and WE had better send someone to Washington who can automatically join the Winning Team — Democrats and it’s just that simple voters.
WHY would WE want to take chances when WE don’t have to for whatever foolish reason that would surely defy the reality of Washington Politics that is driven by Parties & Caucuses. In fact, a new Democrat will be able to even EXPAND on the support Kilili has already delivered FOR the People. The opportunity to gain even more support for the CNMI will be a great “starting caucus tool” for Ed to expand on what Kilili has done, as our next Delegate will lose the seniority earned by Kilili. Seniority is how real power is delegated in the U. S. Congress for membership & leadership in the various committees. The future will truly be bright for Ed & the CNMI, especially if Harris & Democrats takeover Washington, which is far more likely than Republicans who don’t care about us anyway.
If WE send anyone other than a Democrat to Washington, WE are looking for and even asking for trouble, as it would be a ka duku move in the very serious game of Washington Politics! So, given the fact that our Delegate is leaving us in great shape in Washington there is no need to even think about changing the “status quo,” as to think otherwise defies the Political gods figuratively. If it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it and send Ed Propst, the Democrat, to Washington to continue the Federal Aid and support without interruption that was established through the extraordinary caucusing work of Kilili. Please don’t mess-up Washington voters and send Ed, given WE have messed-up the CNMI by constantly electing and re-electing the same-old Republicans and I do mean OLD! God Bless & God Speed to Washington Ed — for TRUE!
One People, One Direction.
