Letter to the Editor: A federal crime

But the truth of the matter is that this nonpayment is endangering the lives of the sick and the disabled people, especially our elderly who depend on their retirement benefits.

It’s a federal crime to abuse the sick, the disabled or the elderly.

I’m speaking out for them who are being threatened by the Fund board members that their benefits are going to be suspended if the government won’t pay up.

Don’t worry. NMPASI can step in and remind the Fund board members that this is a federal crime if they decide to stop your benefits.

Tell our leaders to pay up or shut up and vote them out of office and vote for those who will restore our moral ethical values and restore the respect for our sick, disabled and elderly citizens. It’s the law.
