The people of the Northern Marianas cannot afford to be out of health insurance. There are over 10,000 parents and children who are benefited from AETNA health insurance. AETNA is one of the best medical insurances we ever have in the history of the Northern Marianas government, and failing to pay the cost of health insurance is a detrimental to the livelihood of the people of our great commonwealth. The livelihood of our people now rest on your hands.
Governor Fitial, after having a heart surgery, I am thanking God that we have AETNA insurance. Right now, I rather pay my AETNA health insurance than putting food on my table, I am serious; this is how badly I needed the AETNA insurance. I cannot speak for other members, but I know they would march with me to ask you for your approval of H.B. 16-262, HD1.
