Letter to the Editor: Dear Mr. James Camacho

What attributes does cousin voting, party voting, and friendship voting has done for us for the past 25 years?

Look around us, and all this mess will indicate to you answers that you wouldn’t want your children to learn.

You wouldn’t want your children to know that you made that decision that are not wise for them.

Although I honor and love my parents, and all my elders, I blame them for not securing my future then, when they did not vote honest and highly qualified leaders.

Please be reminded that no can know who you voted for but yourself. I trust that this time you will vote not by way of cousins, party, or friendship. Vote for the most highly qualified candidates.

Mr. Camacho, you said that over 180 members of U.S. Congress and 57 members of the Senate are all lawyers. Now what does that say about the eminent qualification we should be looking for in this delegate race? Do we find that among the nine candidates running only one is an actual lawyer? Coupled by the resourcefulness of experience as a lawyer and judge, do we find Mr. Juan Tudela Lizama to be the most highly qualified candidate?

He is not my cousin, but he is the most highly qualified and his credentials are an assurance.

The Colonel loves you all so much not to tell you to get out of the business of old politics and enter the new era of advance representation. Look all around you and then ask yourself this question, “Am I going to vote for my cousin, my party, or for my friend?” And then look all around you again. Or are you going to vote for the most highly qualified candidate?

A warm pugua Hafa Adai,

ALEXANDRO
