Last week she resigned from the board of regents and her reasoning, in our view, is rather immature, unprofessional and vindictive.
The issues being raised today are the same issues raised years ago.
One important and critical issue is the fact that any local in our community who had been president at NMC never lasted. Why? Loyalists ensured that they never last, especially when a president is making major changes for the betterment of NMC and its students.
We strongly believe that Mrs. McPhetres has maintained control over NMC even after her retirement. How? Simple. LOYALISTS are well established within NMC.
Again, today with the help of her loyalists, they are working hard in an effort to derail the current president, especially at a critical time, but none of them have stepped forward with their allegations and accusations.
This entire fiasco was instigated since day one based on one’s personal and vindictive hidden agenda against the current president. An agenda to inflict damage on her and the board’s reputation. This is an outright shame which demands an immediate explanation from Mrs. McPhetres.
Everyone needs to ask themselves this question. What happened to the last LOCAL PRESIDENTS and why is it that we don’t have enough local instructors at NMC?
The research and investigation on our part continues, for the TRUTH behind this whole fiasco will prevail for the sake of NMC’s accreditation.
