$800 per month or $9,600 per year. This is unverified and incorrect. Throughout my public service, I have never leased a vehicle for my office. In fact, I cannot remember ever leasing a car, including for my personal and private use.
It will serve well to verify information regarding public expenditure of funds, if only to ensure that the information you are providing the general public is true. This error is a surprise, as I know you have very dependable and fair reporters working for the paper.
