I would like to clarify that the Women, Infants and Children program does not require any documents issued by the CNMI Department of Labor. To determine WIC eligibility, we require:
• proof of address in the CNMI (such as a rent receipt, or a utility bill),
• proof of income (such as pay stubs)
• proof of identity (such as passport, drivers license).
Pregnant women also will be asked to provide proof of pregnancy.
I am sorry that the contract worker that MV interviewed was misinformed.
