Letter to the Editor: Nothing is impossible

I asked them which was better, casino or medicinal marijuana? The guys said marijuana because even if we don’t have money, we can still smoke it. But casino, no money, no honey!

So I asked them again, did the Honorable Congressman Stanley Torres tell you where was the best place to plant marijuana?

The other guy said, “CHC compound! It’s already secured with fencing and we could build a green house where we could plant the marijuana in flower pots.”

But the other guy said, “No way! We’ll get problems over there! It will be much better on Tapotchau or Bird Island.”

Why so far? I asked.

The guy said it’s for the safety of our kids and our students. He said we could build something like the great wall of  China  and have German shepherd dogs plus security guards.

But where do we get the money for that project?

The guy said we borrow money from Switzerland and we can guarantee repayment because marijuana will make the CNMI very rich.

What about Mr. Obama? Will he agree to the marijuana bill? No way.

I think the casino bill is much better than  medicinal marijuana. A Saipan casino will be a big help for our economy.

What if the Senate rejects the bill again? I will ask them how will they revive our economy. It’s already crawling at the bottom of the Bell Curve.
