Jason was a devout Catholic who really believed in God. He and Elton were hikers and mountain climbers. One day they decided to go hiking in the jungle and came upon a 60 feet cliff so they decided to go for it. No ropes or tools. It was easier to grab and step on rocks. Elton climbed first and Jason was below. They were like seven feet apart.
Elton reached the top of the cliff, so he sat on a rock to wait for Jason. When Jason was about 10 feet from the edge of the cliff, his foot slipped on a rock and he had to grab a tree branch so he wouldn’t fall. “Oh God please help me!” he shouted. Elton heard him and looked down at his friend.
“Elton help me,” Jason said. Elton replied, “Do you believe in God?” Jason said “Of course!” Elton said: “Then release that branch you’re holding.”
