Letter to the Editor: To Congressman Hocog

Passing the Senate budget will further jeopardize the living conditions of those getting below the salary cap.

I humbly ask you to continue working hard so that our people will not continue to suffer during this economic crisis.

I understand that there will be a conference committee and I ask you not to pass the budget if it contains the provisions proposed by the Senate.

Many government employees are suffering from the high power rates and the high prices of commodities and gasoline. What more do the senators want? Do they want to see those employees suffer further, not to mention their families?

Do not include the austerity Fridays and no-pay holidays. I totally object to this proposal.

Again, congressman, we seek your untiring support. Please reject the Senate budget bill.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing a budget passed with good conscience.
