MARCIANA “Ciana” Concepcion was among the top three make-up artists in the national Benefit Cosmetics 5th Annual Brow Search Competition.
Concepcion is currently in Long Branch, New Jersey doing eyebrow make-up challenges and creating social media content for the brand.
She said although she didn’t take home the top prize, she still feels an emotional validation for her talents as a make-up artist.
“I was amongst so many talented creators, I was just as talented, and was chosen for a reason,” Concepcion told the Variety. “I was so happy to have been a part of such an amazing experience.”
Other benefits to participating were her one-on-one time with the professional make-up coaches who gave her advice and provided her with feedback on how to grow her social media following, Concepcion said.
She added that brands have already reached out to her regarding paid partnership deals.
Concepcion walks away from the competition with a year’s worth of Benefit Cosmetics Brow Bar Services, cash, and promotional rewards from Adina Eden jewelry.
