(Saipan Falun Dafa Association) — World Falun Dafa Day, a significant festival for millions of Falun Gong practitioners globally, was celebrated on May 13, 2023. This marked the 24th edition of the event, commemorating the 31st anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction and the birthday of its founder, Master Li Hongzhi. Falun Gong practitioners engaged in various activities throughout the month, expressing gratitude for Master Li’s teachings that have positively impacted countless lives.
From around 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 13, local Falun Dafa practitioners held up banners in a safe area at a three-way intersection near the Toyota dealership. Their purpose was to showcase the beauty of Falun Dafa, spread its teachings, and distribute truth-clarification materials. As a gesture of goodwill, they presented small lotus flowers as gifts to local citizens, who happily used them as car hangings. At red lights, passing vehicles would stop, and the practitioners would wave, greet them, and receive friendly responses of “Falun Dafa is good.”
The celebrations of World Falun Dafa Day not only exemplified the values of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance” but also provided an opportunity for practitioners to interact with the community. These dedicated individuals used their time to share the essence of Falun Dafa and promote a sense of harmony and well-being among citizens.
