Dancing for health

Dancing is for everybody. It does not matter if you’re two or 90 years old, whether you have two right or two left feet, whether you haven’t danced all your life but endured being a wall paper in parties, or on the opposite had always been the dancer of any party.

Even if you show signs of stepping on your instructor’s feet through each session or have a body as stiff as a pole, there is hope for you. These four dance instructors can transform you into a graceful dancer.

Eden Quizon, Resty Joson, Manny Joson and Allen Cuyugan had been working as dance instructors from 10 to 15 years and had taught people to dance from all walks of life. These four instructors are the force working behind Rose Dance School in Garapan.

“Dancing is a fulfilling form of exercise. I had been dancing for as long as I can remember, and it keeps me in shape,” Quizon said.

For Cuyugan, one is never too old to dance.

“Dancing has so many health benefits, and if you can dance for an hour a day, you will reap the benefits in addition to having fun,” Cuyugan said.

Learning how to dance will be easy if the interest and determination is there, says Manny Joson.

For Resty Joson, dancing is one way of loosing up while having fun.

“It is also an exceptional form of exercise that has many health benefits. It is a great way to reduce stress, improve strength and stay fit,” Resty Joson said.

These four dance instructors teach students mainly Latin and ballroom dancing.

You start with the basic, move on to intermediate, advanced, and finally to competitive dancing.

“Come out to learn healthy and entertaining dances that will make you look and feel young and beautiful, and will keep you in shape,” Cuizon said.

Dancing benefits the body and helps one feel more positive in life, no matter if you are doing belly dancing, ballroom dancing, salsa, square, swing or whatever dance steps you are doing.
