Vice Chairman Dennis Seo of the Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands right, and Board Member Robert Coates, left, present a $2,500 donation to 500 Sails Director of Community Projects Andrew Roberto on June 15, 2022, at the 500 Sails boatyard in Lower Base, Saipan. HANMI is a professional forum for the hospitality industry of the Marianas and made the donation in support of 500 Sails’ work to revive, promote, and preserve the maritime cultural traditions of the Mariana Islands through community engagement in canoe culture values and activities. A portion of the donation will be used to providing sailing experiences for visitors, including Pacific Mini Game delegates.
