The five crews — Rock-A-Beat Kings, Project Impact, Elements, Project Impact (same name but different group) and FDC — auditioned on Dec. 7 at the Saipan Music and Dance Studio.
PIC’s Russian market manager Elly Stoilova, who judged at the audition with Russian market coordinator Ioulia Safer, had initially planned to choose one dance crew to perform at the bash. However, it was decided that all five would compete, and that the winner of the night would be decided by the attendees of the party.
“It’s hard to choose which team is the best one. Each team has their own style,” Stoilova said of the young dancers.
PIC’s Russian Christmas bash is held every year for visiting Russian tourists. This year’s bash will be held on Jan. 7, 2011, which is Christmas Day according to the Russian calendar.
