
(MÅGI) — The Marianas Alliance for Growth of Islanders is pleased to announce the Second Annual Marianas Festival, taking place Aug. 22–24, 2025, in Vancouver, WA, and Fairview, OR.
We warmly invite communities throughout the Pacific Northwest to join us in celebrating the rich cultural heritage and vibrant traditions of the Chamorro and Refaluwasch peoples of the Mariana Islands.
Friday, Aug. 22 – Workshop Day
Location: Heritage High School, Vancouver, WA
Time: 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Cost: Free or low-cost

Hands-on workshops in Chamorro dance, language, genealogy, pottery, weaving, storytelling, and more — open to all ages and backgrounds.
Saturday, Aug. 23 – Festival Day 1:
Location: Blue Lake Regional Park, Fairview, OR
Time: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. (arrive by 9 a.m. for opening ceremony)
Cost: Free
Live performances from island artists, including Chloe Andre Talan, Dakota Camacho, Kutturan Mariånas, and headliner J.J. “The Legend” Concepcion with The One Marianas Band. Enjoy food, vendors, raffles, a beer garden, crafts, the Kelaguen Challenge, and the Marianas Truck Meet.
Sunday, Aug. 24 – Festival Day 2
Location: Blue Lake Regional Park, Fairview, OR
Time:10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Cost: Free
Start the day with the Marianas 5K & Tropixx Warmup, followed by performances from RA Khan, Bounce Cruz, Guma’ Gela’, and a second show from J.J. “The Legend” Concepcion. Explore cultural exhibits, crafts, food, and community booths.
