NC Picks — painted orange — will open on Dec. 22 in Garapan.
E-LAND Group, the owner of Ohas Boulangerie and Café in Garapan, as well as Kensington Hotel and other major hotels on Saipan, announced that it will open NC Picks, an apparel store, in the heart of Garapan on Friday, Dec. 22.
Juelee Won, NC Picks shopmaster, said the apparel store will be located in the same building that houses ABC Store, across from T-Galleria, and adjacent to Joeten Garapan.
Won said the store will feature brands such as Nike, Under Armour, Crocs, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and more.
She said opening NC Picks in Garapan is E-Land Group’s way to contribute to the revitalization of the tourism district.
“That’s the main target,” Won said. “We can provide for the locals and tourists.”
She said there aren’t many clothing places on Saipan that offer new basic, brand name apparel items at an affordable price.
“[At NC Picks] locals don’t have to wait long to get their online orders from Amazon or eBay for basic tees or other apparel,” she said.
Won said their main market will be tourists and local families, including the youth and the fitness community.
She noted that the shop is centrally located in an area next to other shops, which can draw pedestrians. It is also located near CNMI Transit bus stops.
