ABIGAIL, a non-profit organization that aims to empower women, help strengthen families and offer protection to victims of domestic violence, is inviting community members, especially women, to a leadership conference at Pepoy’s Café and Restaurant on Saturday, May 27, at 6 p.m.
The event aims to equip participants with skills and knowledge to achieve financial freedom, manage their own business and have productive lives.
ABIGAIL stands for Advocacy, Brilliance, Intelligence, Good Morals, Affirmation, Instruction and Love.
Its president and co-founder Femie Rey said they want to help create a community of strong and healthy families where everyone has a voice and opportunity for a better life free from oppression and domestic abuse.
