What about your backyard? Do you get a headache looking at the cluttered beer and soda cans left from the previous parties in your house?
How about your kitchen, garage, or stockroom? If you can relate how it feels having to grope or pick your way around so you will not trip on piles of old papers and cardboards, or wires from old electronic gadgets, maybe it’s time for you to start thinking about recycling.
Gathering all the junk from your house is easily said than done, but if you take time to do it, you will not only clean the clutter in and outside your house, you can also earn money when you bring these recyclable items to facilities who will pay for them, and help maintain a clean environment.
If you can’t find time to sort out the recyclables in your house or office at one time, you can start with a few items and allocate a place where you can store them separately, adding to the pile until you can bring them to the recycling facility.
Start picking up that aluminum can behind the door and allocate a plastic bag for it. You can add to the pile later. Do the same with other recyclables, until it becomes a habit.
