XTREME Fitness670, a non-profit organization, celebrated its first anniversary at Crowne Plaza’s Hibiscus Hall on Saturday where more than 100 members participated in a Zumba dance party.
Xtreme Fitness670, which now has members from Tinian, conducts free Zumba classes for everyone.
“Together, we have accomplished so much, from improving our physical well-being to building a strong sense of community and support among ourselves. This is just the beginning, and I am excited to see what the future holds for our group,” Zumba Instructor Network member or Zin Mitch Olita said.
Olita and the other Xtreme Fitness670 instructors are licensed to conduct Zumba classes.
“We are proud to say that through our dedication and hard work, we have achieved our fitness goals and have come this far together,” the group stated in a social media post.
Led by their president Dionicia Kapileo, Xtreme Fitness670’s Mitch Olita, Angelo Galfo, Rosalyn Ajoste and committee members expressed their gratitude to the community and the sponsors of their first anniversary celebration.
Among their special guests were Tinian Municipal Council Chairman and acting Mayor Joseph Santos, Council Secretary Estevan Cabrera, and Charlene Lizama of the Tinian Casino Gaming Control Commission.
Xtreme Fitness670 would also like to thank its “extended family from Anti-Tobacco Wellness Zumba Tinian, Martial Arts Gold Medalist Mr. Jerry Diaz and wife Rose Diaz, Ms. Diana Clayton of Dee Clayton Classic, Zin Joann Aquino, Zin Joseph from Let’s Move Marianas, Zin Joel, Zin Abby, and the Saipan Unity Lions Club. Special thanks to Ms. Laura and Mr. Ernie Cruz from CHCC for conducting health screenings for the event and Mr. Vic Obana as our event DJ.”
Xtreme Fitness670’s daily Zumba classes are held Monday to Friday at Mango Six, on the second floor of JM Studio, from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
