Walk-ins will be accepted although pre-registration is encouraged. Those in the technician class who want to upgrade must bring the original and one photocopy of their FCC license and any applicable CSCEs.
A valid ID will also be required. If you do not have a photo ID, bring two ID forms at least one of which shows your current mailing address. The 2010 exam fee is $14 for all elements.
The exam session will be administered by the MDX Amateur Radio Club volunteer examiner under the W5YI volunteer coordinator.
VE’s wanting to assist in the exams should bring their VE ID’s. Only VE’s with valid ID are allowed inside the examination session.
Austerity bill
THE office of Sen. Jovita Taimanao will be hosting a public hearing on the austerity bill.
The hearing will take place at the Kagman Community Center on April 13 at 6 p.m. All residents are strongly urged to attend this public hearing.
Zoning Board public hearing
THE Zoning Board will be conducting a public hearing at the Kagman Community Center on April 6 at 6 p.m. All residents are urged to attend.
To all Precinct III residents
THE members of the House of Representatives from Precinct III will conduct a village meeting on April 21, Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m., at the Garapan Central Park.
All residents of Capital Hill, Sadog Tasi, upper and lower Navy Hill, Garapan, Gualo Rai, Chalan Laolao, Chalan Kiya and San Jose are urged to attend this important meeting.
The mayor of Saipan and representatives from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp., the Workforce Investment Agency and the Department of Public Works will also be present to provide information that are necessary and important for the residents of Precinct III.
