Senate Bill 17-10, SS1 would authorize the creation of a population-based cancer registry for the CNMI. A standardized cancer registry would enable public health officials to effectively record and track cancer data, identify and monitor cancer trends, and improve the coordination and delivery of healthcare services in the CNMI. The CNMI is one of the last jurisdictions in the United States that has yet to develop a formal cancer registry.
Senate Bill 17-11 would recognize the right of adults to make decisions regarding the rendering of their own medical care, including the decision to have life-sustaining treatment withdrawn or withheld in the event of a terminal or permanent unconscious condition.

The group members provided shelter, food and drinks to the faithful and tourists as well.
This would not be possible without the help and support of the business and local community, MDX said.
MDX also acknowledged other non-profit organizations for their participation on Good Friday, MDX president Sandie Pablo said.
“From the members and officers of MDX, our sincerest gratitude for your support. Thank you and God Bless!”
