But the Aqua Resort Club on Saipan has breezed through the challenges successfully, although they had to struggle just like all the other hotels and resorts to survive in the island.
Twenty-one years ago, the resort was constructed with the owner’s determination to make it stay around for years and years, and the hotel administration is determined to make it so. Today, the resort celebrates an important milestone, another step to make that determination to stay around come true.
Aqua Resort Club director of food and beverage sales for local and corporate market E. Peding C. Sablan told the Variety in an interview last week that first of all, the success of the hotel operations wouldn’t have been made possible without everyone’s effort — from the administration, down to the employees of the different departments.
Today, Sablan said the Aqua Resort Club will be giving something special to its employees as a way of saying “thank you” to appreciate everything they have done in one way or another for the success of the hotel operations.
“The Aqua Resort Club will also hold a special lunch for its staff as appreciation for working together as a team,” she said.
Teamwork
Public relations and sales manager Yae Santos said the spirit of unity and teamwork between the employees and the administration at the hotel accounts much for the big success of the resort operations.
“When employees are treated as family, they will love their work and this will show in their performances and how they treat fellow employees and resort guests,” Santos said.
With employees that come from all walks of life and with varying number of years of service to the hotel, Santos said that working together requires the cooperation of everyone which the employees are happily giving.
Restaurant promo
For its thousands of clients who have been supporting them for the past 21 years, Sablan said that the Aqua Resort Club will be offering more promotions and discounts in celebration of the hotel’s 21st anniversary.
“We will be upgrading our menu for the light and easy brunch at our restaurants, as well as offer huge discounts to our patrons. This is to give our patrons more because we value you as our customers,” Sablan said.
She said they will still continue to offer the 20 percent discount for locals at the hotel’s restaurants.
The Aqua Resort Club also continues to offer the Quattro Promo campaign for Sunday brunch which has been becoming popular with the local community.
Under the Quattro Promo Campaign, local diners get a 20 percent discount on the Sunday brunch, but if four adults dine together, one brunch will be free.
More promo rates
Beginning July 1 until July 15, Sablan said that patrons at the resort can enjoy a discounted room occupancy rate of $80/net for two individuals, inclusive of breakfast for two.
She said that a 50 percent discount will also be offered to guests who want to use the spa facilities of the resort.
“We want our guests to continue enjoying our facilities and our first class services because for us, the customer is the king,” Sablan said.
