Rotary calls for DVD donations for veterans

The Rotary Club of Saipan, through member Mike Tripp, heard about this growing program and has decided to rally the community in donating new or used DVDs to U.S. veterans.

Those wishing to donate new or used DVDs from June 21, 2010 to June 28, 2010 could stop by the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s front desk, Megabyte Saipan, Ernest & Young’s Oleai Center and Joeten Susupe Center.

If you don’t have any DVDs to donate, you could donate $5 at any of these locations that will go to towards the purchase and donation of The Underwater World of Saipan DVD, adding to the over 750 already received from Mike Tripp Productions and members of the Rotary Club of Saipan.

“This is a great way to support a good cause for veterans as well as increase the community’s understanding of Rotary as an international organization, while bringing a little positive exposure to the CNMI,” said Tripp.

DVDs4Vets.org has already donated over 300,000 DVDs since it started four years ago and continues to gain support from celebrities, individuals and organizations throughout the U.S.
