Thanksgiving feast at the Saipan World Resort

“On Sunday, bring your whole family to partake of a very special lunch we prepared for this special occasion,” World Resort Banquet & Restaurant manager Ronald Sanchez said.

Behind the sumptuous creations of the Saipan World Resort’s restaurants is a young chef from Korea who brings with him years of experience in different parts of the world whipping up delectable recipes to satisfy the diversified palates of diners.

The World Buffet thanksgiving brunch includes bottomless champagne, wine and beer with the special buffet, and a chance to win great prizes in the raffle draw. The local price for the special buffet is $22 for adults and $11 for kids. Add $10 more and get a special pass to the Wave Jungle. For tourists, the buffet lunch is $32 for adults and $16 for children.

The World Buffet can accommodate 266 persons but they can extend tables to the Royal Taga Hall to accommodate more diners.

Executive chef Louis Ryu hails from Seoul and has been on island for the past 10 months. His favorite is French cuisine but he is slowly learning  local cuisine.

In the next few weeks, diners at the World Buffet can expect huge changes in the menu as Kyu incorporates the different flavors of different cuisines to meet each diner’s varying tastes.
