DFS honors employees of the month
(DFS) — DFS Saipan Ltd. recently recognized Rose Wanket and Fumiko Seki as July employees of the month.
Wanket was recommended by her manager, Gemma Good. According to Good, Wanket is a “Juggler” as she can juggle tasks and manage organization events extremely well. Wanket is a very reliable person and knows how to prioritize her tasks. She assists many employees daily in various ways. Despite all her Talent Management duties, she is also passionately involved in DFS sponsored events. Wanket was hired in April 2005.
Seki was nominated by her manager, Tatsuhiko Chubachi. Seki gives immediate attention to every customer who comes in, not only to her department but also to nearby departments around her. She knows that “we only have three seconds to establish a good first impression.” She checks inventory carefully, and makes sure high valued items are under good control each time after her day off. In addition, she is a master at making customers “Feel Good” by giving them compliment about their selections and good reasons to come back to DFS.
Seki has been with DFS since March 1996.
Both employees received a framed employee of the month certificate, a $50 gift certificate, and will have lunch with the DFS Saipan president and the general manager/AGM. They are now eligible candidates for the 2010 DFS Employee of the Year Award in their categories.
