0 hospitalizations; 19 new Covid-19 cases

(CHCC) — As of April 18, 2022, there were 0 individuals hospitalized as a result of Covid-19.

From April 11 to 17, 2022, there were 0 new hospitalizations

Nineteen additional individuals have been confirmed positive for Covid-19, bringing the CNMI total to 11,221 cases since March 28, 2020. A duplicate was deleted.

As of April 18, 2022, a total of 22,967 Covid-19 additional/booster vaccine shots had been administered. Of the eligible population, 61.6% have received an additional dose. The vaccination rate is calculated using the 2020 Census population estimates for the CNMI and includes the eligible 5-year-olds and older population.

A total of 1,148 Covid-19 tests were conducted April 11-17, 2022:

151 on April 12, 2022

47 on April 13, 2022

317 on April 14, 2022

209 on April 15, 2022

37 on April 16, 2022

16 on April 17, 2022

Of the total cases identified, as of April 17, 2022:

11,177 recoveries

Of the cases, 10,346 were identified via community testing and 875 through travel testing.
